Jones explores pairing the architecture of words with different building materials, allowing these to become the font. The shape and form of the materials creates the text, rather than the other way around. “We attribute so much value to words and what they say and mean, but they are just an arrangement of lines and marks,” he says, “I am less interested in what words say than in how they sit.”
