Drawing on western abstract art and eastern ink painting traditions, Wang’s work fuses two worlds. Concerned with process rather than product, she approaches every act of creation with intention. She says: “The physical and mental process of creating my work holds more importance to me than the finished piece.” Wang sees her way of working as a form of spiritual purging.
