Cab Kenningale's recent work involves taking small paper felt tip and crayon drawings which then get enlarged, overlapped and rotated. If the image is magnified enough, previously minor artifacts present themselves and can be manipulated.
" The starting point lies in disorder, laying a solid, thick and bold combination of materials, such as pastel, oil bar and household paint onto the canvas and paper. Then comes refinement and control, picking the correct edges and shapes to exploit"
