Molly's paintings allude to actual spaces that can be recongised as landscapes or domestic areas, but abstracted beyond recognition through the brushwork and paint application. Everyday objects are adapted and repeated throughout the work to playfully manipulate and depict space. The decision making is traceable through the apparent editing of the paintings, with shapes and colours visibly reworked and repositioned.
