Sincuba is an interdisciplinary artist who moves between and combines various media including painting, drawing, photography, video, performance, textiles and installation. The conceptual basis for her work is drawn from lived experience and indigenous knowledge systems.
Sincuba’s work explores the intersection of sexuality and technology, aiming to reflect sex positivity as an antithesis to gender-based discrimination and violence. She is interested in women’s work globally, with a specific focus on sub-Saharan Africa.
