Andy's practice is one that loops back into itself in a way that generates momentum for the paintings to mimic each other, and then come back to the source. They are paintings about paintings.
"Whether it be the glitchy way a moving figure refuses to be stitched seamlessly into a digital image within google street view, an errant traffic paint line, or old layers of paint falling off of a sign to reveal previous layers of paint, they all revolve around a human element and/or time having passed”.
