Luc Pierre

Luc Pierre's work is derived from a repetitive process of composition and deconstruction. His starting point is an intuitive drawing practice; which he then extends to cutting and tearing into collage. His drawings become the material for what he thinks of as musical scores; structured and composed through rhythm and syncopation. He works in bright acrylic; oil pastel; charcoal and spray paint to develop lyrical; pulsing visual narratives.
