Often working in timed situations that push a frenzied production of new ideas. Freya takes notes from her process of creating music in experimental punk band ”˜Mermaid Chunky'. Celebrating freedom of line drawing and redrawing ; allowing mistakes and continuous development. This manifests through a sensitivity to the subject's inner world; its physicality and relationship with the environment. Freya is fascinated by the textural; tactile; sensual and humorous elements that make up the human experience.
