Simplification and repetition are at the heart of Daniels' work. Using colour and form; he collects a range of elements; ultimately creating something quite abstract and ambiguous. “I often work in series; using the same forms in different compositions and colours; keeping to the rules I set for the sequence; and altering the optical rhythms through these decisions.”
