Vey specialized in photography after studying History of Art in Lyon and ayear of research in Italy. During this first foreign residency she adopted her practice of nomadism as aform of work; travelling and walking around Europe and China. In recent years; her approach has been more specifically concerned with exploring the edge of Territories such as a one thousand three hundred and eighty-six kilometre journey along the Belgian border in 2010; in her small van that she has transformed into amobile home. This year she is following the contro-corrente;an itinerary along the Italian coast; inspired by the travel diariesof Pier Paolo Pasolini and the route he travelled some sixty years earlier.
