Collection: Caroline Inckle-Sharpe

(b 1978, United Kingdom. Lives and works in Forres)

Inckle's work explores a material relationship with the natural world through both image-making and sculpture. She often begins her process by walking; sometimes collecting physical objects and materials and collating photographic imagery. She then goes on to use these objects and images to inform her drawings; sculptures and installations. Inckle considers her ”˜making' as both a developmental process and a meditative action; it is a point of contact between her and the world around her; forming a type of extended anatomy.
