“In recent works I have tried to combine various pictorial techniques; such as solid applied painting with layers of fine glaze to achieve simple results at first glance” but certainly interesting if the works are analyzed from a compositional point of view. Although Sosa takes a minimalist approach; his works can be compositionally complex and go through many stages where final elements; warm greys and bright; saturated colours are selected and discarded. “It is a constant search for a vision; of a certain moment; of an aesthetic dream. Many times I think that they are the beginning of something that I can never fully discover”.
