Anico Mostert's work celebrates quiet; everyday moments. Her practice is an intuitive process of learning and discovery in which she creates the feeling of space by overlaying pastel shades and vivid colours with semi-abstracted figures. By referencing images from social media and snapshots; she recreates painted compositions from ordinary scenes.
