Alyson Fox

Alyson Fox is a multi-disciplinary artist and designer whose work is process driven and series-based. “I draw; photograph; sculpt; weave; print; cut; collect; interview; and record. I make a lot of the same “idea” using different mediums because I am interested in the conversation those mediums are having together. The process is intimate; immediate and playful without being very concerned with how pretty something is to look at. The results are sometimes a bit of a mess; and that is what is beautiful to me - the mess of experience.”
