Jones explores pairing the architecture of words with different building materials; allowing these to become the font. The shape and form of the materials creates the text; rather than the other way around. “We attribute so much value to words and what they say and mean; but they are just an arrangement of lines and marks;” he says; “I am less interested in what words say than in how they sit.”
