Etnik's work aims to build a visual language based on the essential components of drawing which are: the line, the flat colour and the format. The works take shape on formats with irregular borders, like pages torn from a book. The notion of control around the drawing allows the work to oscillate between a great freedom of approach without tools and a meticulous control of each composition generating a visual landscape that unfolds from drawing to drawing.
