Amy Rusch explores the use of plastic bags as a materials for creating art. Through repetitive cutting, stitching, heating, pulling and binding, she turns a waste product into something more visually compelling. Her experimental practice moves between slow and meticulous rhythmic motions and faster mechanized interventions, and interplay between concealing and revealing the material.
